COMMANDER’S MESSAGE

We did it!! Post 9808 was awarded the high level of achievement of All American. It took the entire membership to make this happen. Congratulations to every Member. I even had the honor of walking up on the stage to receive the award at the National Convention from Commander in Chief Mihelcic. Now we have to work on next year’s accomplishments for All State and All American. Post 9808 also was recognized for State Community Service. We should be receiving a sign to go outside so everyone that drives by our Post will know we are doing things. Thank you for all you did.

Your Delegates represented the Post very well at the National Convention. We attended as many workshops as we could. We did a lot of networking with other Posts to get different ideas on how we can improve some things and do some different events that Members can enjoy.

The Post continues to need volunteers to help with tasks around the Post, both inside and outside. Please contact Junior Vice Phil Hudson if you are available. Weeds seem to be taking over at times. Take charge of a small area and keep it clear of those weeds. If several took charge of a small area, it would help in the beautification of the Post.
