Warm weather is just around the corner. We are getting a few sneak peeks every few days. If you are doing anything outside, be sure and have some cool water nearby and do not get overheated. Yard work can take a lot out of us if we try to do it all at once. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Get those grandkids over to help and take this time to talk to them about your military service. This would be an awesome opportunity to tell your story to our younger generation.
By the time you get this edition of the Post Newsletter, Memorial Day will be over. I hope you came by the Post to be a part of the Remembrance Program followed by the traditional hamburger and hot dog cookout. This is a great time to meet new members and to chat with old buddies and see the families. Most importantly, I pray that you took the time to remember those that paid the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives so that we can remain free in the best country in the entire world. God Bless the USA!!
