Comrades,
Thank you for allowing me to lead Post 9808 for the past three years. It has truly been an honor and privilege. With your help, Post 9808 continued to lead the way within District 3 and in many ways within the Department and at the National level. I had an awesome team filling the Staff positions and everyone worked hard over these past years. Of course, I cannot thank all of the membership enough for your support and encouragement. It takes everyone to achieve the recognitions that we have received.

At the Post Meeting in May, the new slate of Officers were installed. They will do wonders for the Post but will need your support and assistance. I ask that you stand with them and keep the momentum going for 9808 to stay at the top. They will officially take over after the Department Convention this month.

Post 9808 made and exceeded all the goals and requirements to not only make All State but also All American. That is an honor to be recognized as a top Post. It took a lot of work, but as a team it happened.

Continue to push membership. Help bring in new members and encourage current annual members to become Life members. Check to make sure if the Comrade has a spouse that they know about our Auxiliary.

We continue to support Liberation and Lonesome Dove. Consider going along sometime. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Watch out for no necks (snakes) while working outside. I’ve come across three more young ones. They give me the willies no matter how small they are. Also stay hydrated and make sure
someone knows you are out in the heat so they can check on you. Keep that cell phone turned on and in your pocket. Remember safety first.

Again, thank you for your support while I have served as your Commander. It was a wonderful
experience.

Team Veterans,

Doris Wollett
Commander
