Comrades,
Thank you so much for your confidence in electing me as your Commander. I promise to do my best to make the right decisions for the Post and all its members. The new slate of Officers for 2021-2022 will have the best interest of the Post in mind as they perform their duties. My goal is to work to bring the Post and Auxiliary back together in supporting our Veterans. As events are planned, I want us to work as a Team.
Warmer weather is here and some much needed rain. Fair skies are in the forecast and that means we can all get outside and do something. Hopefully, some of that time will be with family and friends. Should you desire to work in your yards, please be mindful of the temperature and remember to stay hydrated. Keep a look out for those “no necks” (snakes) and other critters that may not be your friends.
I’m hearing that most of you have gotten the vaccine and others are in the que to receive it. Make the decision that is the best for you and those that you are around. Not only do we need to protect ourselves, but our family and friends that we are around the most. Some stores are still requiring the wearing of a mask so keep one in your pocket or purse so that you do not have to run back to the car to get it. Our Post is back open, but we are still required to follow the mandates that are out which means if the Governor decides we need to tighten up again, then we will have to.
