COMMANDER’S MESSAGE
Comrades,
Where did 2022 go? We shared in a lot of fellowship/comradeship at and away from the Post. We continued
to support Veterans and the community. Going into 2023, we will continue to support Liberation Veterans
Services and Lonesome Dove as well as the MHS JNROTC, American Red Cross, retired Firefighters,
Boy Scouts and many others. If you want the Post to possibly support another activity, please let me
know. The Post will also continue having Bingo on Wednesday and Friday nights. In order to continue with
our activities, we need more volunteers. Please consider helping out so the Post continues to excel and
move forward.
The Post held its Annual Christmas Party which was well attended. If you were not there, you missed a
really good time. There were scrumptious appetizers and a delicious meal followed by some hilarious games and an ugly sweater contest. Thank you to everyone that helped with the party and to those that decorated the social quarters. It was very festive. The Post took the lead in Wreaths Across America and
it was awesome. Hanover Sheriff escorted the caravan from the Post to Cold Harbor Cemetery.
