Spring has sprung and with more and more citizens being vaccinated, Covid is fading. But, it’s not gone yet so we must continue to practice all the recommendations of our public health professionals. We kick off the month with our trip to Liberation Veterans Services to deliver dinner and fellowship to our down-on-their-luck brothers. If you’d like to help, see Comrade “Mac” McCormick and be at the post by 6 PM on April 1st.

April 8 will be our regular post meeting and Elections for Officers for the 2021-22 year. The election will take place between 4 PM and 7 PM. This election will occur on a secret ballot with provisions for write-ins. You must present your valid membership card to receive a ballot. We are hoping for a good turn out for the election and the meeting. We encourage all members in good standing to come cast a ballot whether or not you can stay for the meeting. We are planning to have regular post meeting attendance, but we must wear the mask and sit social distanced around the room. Many of our members including myself have received the vaccination but we still must work to keep others safe.
