As we persevere through these difficult times, know that we will always be here for each other. Our members, families and all veterans will always be able to count on 9808 to be there for them through the good times and the bad. The post is cautiously opening up and serving meals. The leadership team will be checking the guidance from the state authorities often so we will be ready to move forward as things change.


In the meantime, we do have some events scheduled for July. The 2nd will be our monthly dinner delivery to Liberation Homeless Veteran’s Shelter. On the 6th, 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th, we will host Red Cross blood drives in the bingo hall. If you wish to donate, you have to call Red Cross and schedule an appointment. No walk-ins are allowed during the Covid-19 crises. Good news for veterans who served in western Europe back in the 80’s and 90’s, we can once again donate blood, the restrictions have been lifted.
