To commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the Band of Brothers miniseries release
the VFW Post 9808 is going to host a series of events at VFW Post 9808 highlighting WWII and the award winning miniseries that documented the exploits of an individual WWII Airborne Infantry Company.
The second event takes place Tuesday, 16 August at 6:00pm. Activities will include a presentation by a military historian, tables displaying WWII artifacts and a large screen showing of the first two episodes of the Band of Brothers. If you would like to treat you and your guest to dinner, it will be available for purchase ($8) from 5:00 to 6:30. The event is open to all veterans and their guests and will be a wonderful opportunity to socialize, share a meal, and learn even more about the sacrifices and accomplishments of our WWII veterans. The doors will remain open so you are welcome to come after the event starts.
